Born in Milan, he studied the Flute in his town at the Civic School of Music with M° Luca Berliat and Chamber Music with        M° Emilio Pomarico; he attended a Composition course run by M° Sandro Gorli at “G.Verdi” Conservatory of Milan.

He is a real professional since 1982, after achieving of Flute Diploma, he continued his own instrumental education holding a graduate of the Conservatory and Academy at the following institutions:
•	85/89, Accademia Internazionale Superiore (International Advanced Music Academy) “L. Perosi”, at Biella, M° Peter Lukas Graf;
•	1989, Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale (Postgraduate Studies Music School), at Saluzzo, MM Alain Marion and Raymond Guiot (Flute) - MM Judith Liber, Roger Birnstingle and Maurice Bourgue (Chamber Music) – M° Sergio Balestracci (Ancient Music) – M° Daniele Bottaro (Alexander Technique);
•	89/91, Ecole Nationale de Musique (National Music School), at Aulnays-sous- Bois (Paris), M° Patrick Gallois.
•	89/93, Accademia “Incontri col Maestro” (Academy “Meeting with the Master”), at Imola, Master Classes with international concert artists (MM: Maxence Larrieu, Aurele Nicolet, Per Øien, Conrad Klemm, Glauco Cambursano, Angelo Persichilli).
•	In 2005 he attended the Flute Degree to Teaching Method at Istituto di Alta Formazione Musicale (Vocational Guidance Musical Institute) “G. Verdi” in Milan (MM Gabriele Gallotta e Glauco Cambursano), with full marks, he got a first-class degree and a worth mention; he is the first flute player in Italy with a qualification like that.

He obtained prizes in National and International Flute Competition (Genova, Stresa, Aulnay-sous-Bois, Venice), Chamber Music and Orchestra.

Since 1993 he is The First Flute Soloist of the Symphony Orchestra “H. Swarowsky” in Milan. 
He worked together a lot ensemble symphonic as: “Filarmonici di Torino”, “Kammermusik di Napoli”, “Orchestra del Teatro di Lecco”, “Orchestra Stabile di Bergamo”, “Orchestra Lirico-Sinfonica della Provincia di Lecco”; conducted by J. Kalmar,          D. Solomon, G. Noseda, C. Rizzi, E. Pomarico, R. Rivolta, M. Caldi, J. L. Petit.

He played with the famous harpists Judith Liber (Harp Soloist of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra), Kumiko Inoue (President of World Harp Association) and Letizia Belmondo (winner of Fourteen Israel International Harp Contest-2001).

He also played for a long time Jazz Music (he worked together the famous guitarist Franco Cerri) and Brazilian Music (recording with the percussionists Kal Dos Santos and Gilson Silveira).

He recorded for “Voce del Padrone of Tokyo”, “Sony”, “Radio Television of Italian Switzerland”, “Radio France”, “Canale Cinque”, “Match Music TV”, “Europe Radio”, “Arpa”, “Ethnoworld”. 

He published a lot of articles of Pedagogy and arrangements for Instruments Ensemble, 
he regularly writes for a specialized Magazine FaLaUt. It’s going to be published his new book Tecniche Respiratorie (Breathing Technique – FaLaUt Ed.); he published two new books: Un Flauto Per Me - Corso per l’apprendimento strumentale di base (Flute Method for beginners - Volontè&Co - 2009)) in cooperation with Massimiliano Torsiglieri and Vademecum per l’Indirizzo Musicale (Vademecum for Middle Musical Studies Schools - Ed. Carisch - 2008) a collaborative effort with Ciro Fiorentino.

He teaches Flute at Middle Musical Studies School Bellani at Monza (MI); he is also assistant, for the Chamber Music, for the Judith Liber’s International Master Classes.
He teaches for Refresher Courses for Teachers.
